Are you a motivated individual with a passion for customer service and technology? This organisation is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Service Desk Assistant to join their busy Service Desk team.
Hours: Monday to Friday, shifts between 08:00-17:00 (No weekends or Bank Holidays)Contract: Full-time, Office-based for the first 3 months (Hybrid review after this period)
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle a high volume of incoming telephone calls and live chat interactions.
* Process and resolve incoming requests submitted via the Self-Service Portal.
* Deliver first-line support in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
* Accurately log and track incidents and service requests using the service management tool.
* Prioritise tasks efficiently and manage time effectively while switching between communication channels.
Skills
* Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
* Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced support environment.
* A professional, customer-focused attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* IT knowledge or previous experience in a Service Desk or IT Support role is desirable but not essential.
Additional Information:
* This role will be based in the office for the first 3 months. A review will be held after this period to assess suitability for hybrid working.
* Candidates must have been a resident in the UK for at least the past 3 years to pass vetting requirements.
