Role Overview – CNC Miller
We are working with a well-established precision engineering company, delivering high-quality components to industries across the UK. With a focus on innovation and craftsmanship, they are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to set and operate a variety of CNC milling machines. You’ll play a key role in producing precision components to exact specifications, working with advanced machinery in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities – CNC Miller
* Set and operate CNC milling machines, including Bridgeport, Beaver, Hardinge, and Hartford models.
* Use CNC CAM systems and Fanuc/Heidenhain/Mitsubishi controls to produce high-quality components.
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machines to ensure optimal performance.
* Work with general tool room machinery to support production processes.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.
* Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and maintain high standards.
Key Experience & Qualifications – CNC Miller
Proficient in setting and operating:
* Bridgeport Interact 4
* Bridgeport VMC1000
* Beaver
* Hardinge VMC1000 MK2
* Hartford MC2060
* Bridgeport 1000
* Experience with 1CNC CAM system.
* Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Mitsubishi controls.
* Familiarity with general tool room machinery.
* Current Fork Truck Licence.
