Our Client is seeking an experienced People and Wellbeing Partner to provide professional, effective, and holistic HR support during a period of organisational development and cultural enhancement. This role plays a key part in embedding trauma-informed, values-led practice across the organisation, while supporting our people through high-quality HR and wellbeing initiatives.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues across all levels, providing early advice, developing policies, and supporting wellbeing, engagement, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

* Deliver proactive HR advice and support across wellbeing, health and safety, conduct, capability, absence, recruitment, and performance management.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with staff, panel, and board members, promoting an open and supportive culture.
* Develop and implement people policies, procedures, and wellbeing initiatives aligned with legislation and best practice.
* Coordinate and manage casework, ensuring fair, consistent, and values-based resolution of people issues.
* Support change management and continuous improvement through data analysis, reporting, and benchmarking.
* Work collaboratively with external partners such as occupational health, EAP, and benefits providers.
* Ensure digital efficiency through accurate record-keeping and HR system management (People First).
* Handle all matters with sensitivity, confidentiality, and professionalism.


Essential Skills & Experience

* Demonstrated experience providing professional HR guidance and case management in areas including wellbeing, conduct, and performance.
* Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practice, and wellbeing frameworks.
* Experience drafting policies, procedures, and reports, with strong analytical and organisational skills.
* Excellent IT proficiency (Word, Excel, Access) and confidence with digital systems to support hybrid working.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders, including survivors and external partners.
* Understanding of trauma-informed practice or willingness to develop knowledge in this area.
* Relevant qualification in Personnel Management or equivalent experience.
* CIPD membership (or commitment to ongoing CPD).


Desirable

* Awareness of the work of Redress Scotland and the experiences of survivors of historical abuse in care.
* Previous experience within the public, third, or trauma-related sector.
