Job Details
* Job Title: Outdoor Education Teacher
* Location: Acorn Park School, Norwich, NR16 2HU
* Salary: £31,650 - £42,000 per annum (not pro rata)
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
* Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
* Start Date: September 2025

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an Outdoor Education Teacher to join our close-knit team at Acorn Park School in Norwich.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced Outdoor Education Teacher to lead outdoor learning experiences for students. Responsibilities include designing and delivering experiential programs that promote environmental awareness, leadership, teamwork, and personal growth. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, outdoor leader, and advocate for learning beyond the classroom.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Plan, deliver, and teach individual students or small groups according to the School’s Curriculum and policies.
2. Monitor, record, and report on student progress.
3. Contribute to and help implement developments related to the School Development Plan.
4. Promote the physical, educational, and moral development of students.
5. Develop and implement learning environments and programs for individual student progression.
6. Coordinate teaching, development, assessment, recording, and reporting across key stages as agreed with the Headteacher.
7. Devise, implement, and review individual education and behavior plans in collaboration with staff.
