20m Hiab Rigid Lorry Driver Required Immediately!
We are a family run construction company, who are looking for an experience Hiab Rigid Lorry Driver to join a successful Hoist Hire Company! We Hire and Sell our Passenger/Goods and Goods only Hoists across the construction industry to leadings companies. Working on some of the most prestige sites around the country we have gained a fantastic reputation who provide an excellent, honest service. With 12 years as an established company within the industry we have grown each year leading to the business having over 50 employed staff from Office based roles, to our Erectors who work daily putting up and taking down our Hoists, to the Service team making sure we provide the best service to our loyal customers and then our trusted Yard staff who work on our plant making sure our Hoists arrive to site as ordered. With over 180 Hoists on hire we are an extremely busy company looking for the right person to step in and continue our growth. Details of Role:
* Deliver goods and materials to designated locations in London and surrounding areas. We have several customers that we supply that work up north as far as Newcastle to down south in Poole. We have recently been working in Wales and Scotland.
* 50 hours per week, Monday till Friday. Flexible start time due to work requirements, 6am till 16:00. Overtime available. Working from our yard in Erith. Most days you will find you will be required to be on site for 8am.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
* Load and unload materials using the HIAB crane in a secure and timely manner.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any delays or issues encountered.
* Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and efficient operations.
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients and always represent the company in a professional manner.
* Must always wear full PPE when on site and carrying out any operations.
Requirements:
* Valid Category C (Class 2) driving license with HIAB certification.
* Digital tachograph card and up to date CPC training is essential.
* 5 years minimum experience operating HIAB.
* Safety boots for the job.
* Clean license.
