About the Role
A client of ours is looking to build out their trusts team and is seeking to hire a Private Client Solicitor with previous experience leading a small team.
The company is a small to medium-sized firm offering a great work-life balance with a 35-hour working week.
They are based in Kidderminster, and the position is hybrid, requiring presence in the office 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Progress client files by liaising with key stakeholders.
* Handle tax-related matters concerning trust management.
* Register trusts and estate tax returns.
* Manage steps involved in the investment of trust funds and liquidation of trust assets.
What We’re Looking For
* Ideally, a background in accountancy or experience as a solicitor.
* Understanding of trusts, wills, probate, capital gains, and powers of attorney.
* Experience handling a range of trust and tax matters.
