Job Description
* Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
* Check guests in and out efficiently using the hotel’s booking system.
* Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications via phone, email, and in person.
* Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services, local attractions, and directions.
* Manage guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
* Handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing accurately.
* Maintain a tidy and organized front desk and lobby area.
* Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
* Perform administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
* Follow hotel security procedures and ensure guest confidentiality.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role (preferred).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Professional appearance and demeanor.
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
* Proficiency in using hotel software systems (e.g., Opera, PMS, or similar).
* Basic math and computer skills (MS Office, email, internet).
* Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
