Qualifications
* Full registration and a license to practice with the United Kingdom General Medical Council (GMC).
* Entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery via CCT or CESR-CP (Combined Programme), with proposed CCT/CESR-CP date within 6 months of interview.
* CESR or European Community Rights consideration given to candidates within 2 years of their expected CCT date, with a conditional offer pending achievement of the above essential qualifications.

Qualifications and Experience
* MBBS & BDS or equivalent qualification.
* FRCS(OMFS) or equivalent qualification.
* Demonstration of a high level of clinical experience and competency in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
* Demonstration of expertise in the subspeciality of H&N oncology surgery.
* Demonstration of ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Experience of postgraduate and undergraduate teaching.
Presentation, Teaching and Research Skills
* Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience.
* Effective participation in clinical audit.
* Evidence of the ability to carry out medical research.
* Publications in refereed journals.
* Presentations at national and international level.
* Experience and management of quality improvement projects.
* Work independently.
* Good communication skills.
* Team skills.
