Stairlift Engineer
Location: Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex & Cambridgeshire (Field-Based)
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + Overtime + Company Benefits
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stairlift Engineer to join a well-established and growing business, covering the Home Counties including Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, and Cambridgeshire. This is a field-based role where you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of stairlift equipment within domestic environments, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine servicing, fault finding, and repairs on stairlifts
* Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
* Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant safety standards and regulations
* Provide excellent customer service when attending residential properties
* Complete all relevant documentation accurately and on time
* Participate in an on-call rota (if applicable)
Requirements
* Proven experience working as a Stairlift Engineer or within a similar role (mobility equipment, lifts, or access solutions)
* Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills
* NVQ Level 3
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
* Strong customer‑facing skills
