Warehouse Operatives Chelmsford Salary: £26,416 per annum Hours: Initially Monday – Friday (40 hours per week), will be moving to a 5 over 7 shift pattern (including weekends, 40 hours per week), in the near future. Reynolds Catering Supplies are thrilled to announce that we are opening a new facility in Chelmsford and are looking for energetic, reliable Warehouse staff to join our small dynamic team. We are opening a new Freezer facility in Chelmsford and are looking for exceptional Warehouse Operatives. We are one of the UK’s leading fresh fruit & vegetable suppliers to the foodservice industry and provide more than 3,000 different types of fresh produce, frozen and chilled foods, from around the world to businesses across the UK. Accountabilities: Maintain the pace and standards of performance within the Warehouse. Assist in minimising and monitoring specific areas of waste, maximising service, productivity and always providing availability of products. Ensure all stock is used in accordance with the Company Stock rotation process. Picking, packing and box labelling of customer orders accurately. Report any shorts or damaged products. Completion of relevant paperwork. Assemble products on a pallet in a safe manner, avoiding compression and damage whilst building up the pallet correctly. Comply with all legalities, Health & Safety, Hygiene, HACCP control and Environmental policies. Follow internal procedures in relation to temperature controls. Maintain good housekeeping of your work area by applying the Company ‘Clean as you go’ policy at all times. Work efficiently both independently and as part of the team. Always adhere to The Company Policies and Procedures. Other Warehouse Operative duties as required. Measured KPI’s: Picking Accuracy NA report/Stock Variances Pallet Compliance To be successful in your application for the role, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience. Previous experience of working in a frozen/chilled environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Great relationship builder with experience and confidence to deal with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work methodically and support a varied work base and office based when needed. Flexible approach and self-motivated. Ability to multitask whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail. A team player with a 'can do' attitude. A qualification in HACCP Level 1, Food Safety Level 2 or Basic Food Hygiene would be advantageous. Benefits: Annual pay reviews 28 days inclusive of Bank Holidays, increasing with service to 33 days.
