Position: Bank Care Assistant (Flexible days and nights)
The role of a Care Assistant is vital in supporting residents in our homes. You will ensure they are cared for with dignity and respect, engaging them in meaningful activities tailored to their individual needs.
Main Duties
1. Assist residents to remain as independent as possible, providing support such as personal care (washing, dressing, oral care).
2. Show understanding and patience, encouraging participation in leisure activities and supporting outside appointments and outings.
3. Maintain a clean and welcoming environment by making beds, tidying rooms, and undertaking light cleaning duties.
4. Serve meals and drinks politely, presenting food attractively and supporting residents during mealtimes.
5. Comply with all statutory and legal requirements, including Health & Safety, COSHH, Care Standards Act, and Infection Prevention and Control policies.
