We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Cullompton site, supporting our Bakeries contracts. Key Responsibilities: Operate a counterbalance forklift truck with clamp attachments to support day-to-day warehouse operations. Use warehouse systems to accurately receive, store, pick, and dispatch goods, ensuring customers receive the correct products on time. This includes unloading and reloading trunk and rigid box vehicles. Handle all goods with care and precision, maintaining high standards of quality and safety at all times. Replenish stock and consolidate inventory to keep the warehouse organised and prepared to meet demand. Support general warehouse duties, including labelling, and preparing goods for shipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment, ensuring all equipment is used responsibly and kept in good working order. Complete required documentation and adhere to warehouse procedures, promptly reporting any issues or defects to support continuous improvement. Required Experience: Counterbalance forklift licence with clamp attachments is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment. Good communication and team working skills. Attention to detail is essential. Ability to work within a fast-paced environment. Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
