Publicly Available Information Specialist, Senior
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Publicly Available Information (PAI) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a combatant command’s intelligence mission. In this role, you will conduct deep-dive research, produce analytic products, and support intelligence requirements with advanced collection techniques using a DoD-approved Managed Attribution system. You will leverage emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to identify insights from large-scale data and enhance the relevance and depth of open-source intelligence (OSINT) production, all while adhering to established tradecraft standards.
You will serve as the command’s functional expert on PAI, providing training to partner nation personnel, including travel to the African continent. You will collaborate with interagency and DoD stakeholders, contribute to mission planning, and ensure the effective dissemination of products and briefings tailored to intelligence consumers and foreign partners.
You will also integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-assisted tools into the OSINT production process to streamline analysis of high-volume data, surface patterns or anomalies, and support scalable, timely reporting, all in accordance with IC tradecraft and analytic integrity standards.
Your responsibilities will include evaluating new PAI techniques and technologies, testing collection tools, writing and reviewing reports, and advising on policy or procedural improvements. You will balance accuracy and expediency in production, track customer satisfaction, and comply with Director of National Intelligence (DNI) guidance on information sharing and protection

You Have
* 5+ years of experience authoring intelligence products, including OSIRs
* 3+ years of experience in OSINT or PAI research, collection methods, and multi-source systems with PAI analytical principles, data manipulation, and analysis, including geo-enabled PAI
* Experience producing collection requirements assessments and working with IC and DoD joint organizations
* Experience with government or commercial training in open-source or cyber OSINT, such as BOSIC, BOSC 301 or 302, BOTC, AOTC, SANS 487, or CASO or applying structured OSINT methodologies in an intelligence or operational context
* Experience with recognized all-source or single-INT analyst training program, such as DIA’s PACE, or CDASA-1
* Knowledge of PAI platforms, datasets, and technologies and associated tradecraft
* Knowledge of tools provided by the Defense Intelligence Enterprise
* Ability to identify new and emerging tools
* TS/SCI clearance
* Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have
* Experience with support for intelligence or data analysis of political, security, or socio-economic issues
* Experience integrating OSINT or PAI into all-source intelligence production and training others in advanced PAI research and analysis
* Experience in data visualization, nodal analysis, and workflow automation
* Experience identifying and analyzing disinformation networks, including source vetting for bias and information accuracy
* Experience using AI or machine learning tools to analyze large datasets in intelligence contexts
* Experience in investigatory journalistic tradecraft, including transparent documentation of step-by-step collection methods
* Experience evaluating, recommending, and using PAI platforms and technologies, including open-source and public datasets
* Experience using GitHub and modifying publicly available open-source code for OSINT collection
* Ability to apply innovative methods and tools to enhance OSINT or PAI capabilities
Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
