About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
Health and Safety
1. Take responsibility for your own health and safety by acting in a measured and considered way and always keeping your own Health and Safety and that of those around you at the forefront of your thoughts.
2. Support the Management team in efforts to improve site safety by highlighting areas for improvement.
Product Quality & Food Safety
You must clearly understand the required standards that help minimise the risks to food safety. These include:
3. Temperature control (components are not left out of fridges when not in use/during breaks/stoppages etc).
4. Ensuring no cross contamination between products.
GENERAL DUTIES
5. Follow all training and operating procedures as instructed by the company and raise with a manager any changes to procedure that occur or are required
6. Ensure that the necessary paperwork to aid traceability and due diligence is completed as required.
7. Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene and Health and Safety in line with company specifications
8. Ensure that the standards of cleanliness and house-keeping are within the guidelines laid down in the Company procedures – including completing all daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
9. Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and non-verbally at all levels
10. Be flexible within the role and take on any other duties as and when required.
SPECIFIC DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
11. Receipt and storage of in-bound deliveries
12. Preparation of mixes (weighing, sorting ingredients)
13. Assembly of vegan products
14. Packing of vegan products
15. Picking and dispatching of orders (including loading)
16. Hygiene operations (equipment cleaning, waste management, facility cleaning)
Full time hours – Mon to Wed 07:00 to 17:00, Wed to Thurs 07:00 to 17:30
