We have an exciting range of formal development opportunities to complement the on site development pathways in place for the Band 6 pharmacist roles. There will be rotational opportunities and the departments will work with the individual candidates to identify a suitable programme to meet the individual’s needs. This will include completion of the Post-registration Foundation Pharmacist qualification. Main duties of the job To deliver a clinical pharmacy service to patients, medical and nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in accordance with legal and professional requirements and standards. To provide ward-based medicines management service to general clinical areas as per rotation. To supervise pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants and less experienced pharmacists, Foundation trainee pharmacists and students. To participate in a planned rotational programme. To provide Professional / Clinical cover for the dispensary services. To complete a training programme.
