Accounts Manager – Hybrid Role at Steer Automotive
Steer Automotive, a leading company in the automotive accident repair industry, is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our team. This hybrid role offers the perfect balance of 4 days in the office and 1 day remote, providing flexibility while managing critical financial processes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Line Management:
13. Lead and mentor a team of 4 employees, ensuring efficient workflows and team development.
Key Financial Tasks:
14. Daily management of bank payments, including processing and posting receipts and payments.
15. Oversee payment run preparation and track debit card purchases for accurate financial records.
16. Manage the finance inbox and maintain smooth operation by overseeing system parameters.
17. Reconcile intercompany balances to ensure accuracy across Steer Automotive's locations.
18. Ensure all banks are posted and matched in the system for timely reporting.
19. Submit accurate bank reconciliations and manage intercompany recharges and payments.
20. Perform thorough VAT checks and prepare supplier accruals for month-end reports.
Requirements:
21. Must hold AAT Level 4 qualification.
22. Proven experience in financial operations and team leadership, ideally within the automotive or accident repair industry.
23. Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
