Role Overview The Management Accountant will be responsible for providing financial insights, analysis, and support to assist in strategic decision‑making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of management accounting principles. Please note this is a fixed term position for 12 months. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts, to provide insights into business performance. Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations for improvement. Conduct cost analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements, supporting operational and strategic decision-making. Develop and present financial reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends. Collaborate with various departments to gather data for financial planning and support strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Implement and monitor internal controls and financial policies to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and project support as required by management, including scenario modeling and financial impact assessments. Work closely with other finance team members, as well as cross-functional teams, to ensure accurate and timely financial information sharing. Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting. Ensure activities are carried out in compliance with Health, Safety and Environment measures and company policies.
