ATA Recruitment and have partnered with a top key client who are in the market for a strong electrical maintenance engineer. They are a global giant within the FMCG sector with a brand that is recognised world wide.
Last year they injected £15m in to their factory to complete a huge project to double the size of their factory/production. They’ve had a busy recruitment drive over the last year due to expansion/restructure and are nearing the end of a full team. They have one vacancy left for a strong electrical maintenance engineer to join their highly skilled engineers coming from various industries including, food, packaging distribution and other backgrounds.
The Role
As the Electrical Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Replacing electrical and mechanical components like-for-like such as bearings, pumps, valves, contactors, relays, switchers etc.
Working on a range of automated process and manufacturing lines.
Performing routine PPM checks and reactive maintenance
Dealing with bearings, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Monitoring and repairing various factory equipment etc.
About You
The ideal Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have the following:
A recognised electrical qualification
Experience with, or a flexible mindset for, working in a challenging FMCG environment
Excellent understanding of key mechanical and/or electrical components
The personality of a strong team player
