Behaviour Buddy – Blackpool (Starting February 2026)

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience. Between £13.75 - £14.50 per hour
Teaching Personnel are seeking a Behaviour Buddy to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool, supporting children in Key Stage 2 (KS2) who require additional guidance with behaviour and emotional regulation.
Role Overview
As a Behaviour Buddy, you will:
* Work closely with pupils in KS2 to promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs.
* Implement strategies to help children manage emotions and develop social skills.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure consistent support.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience working with children with behavioural needs or SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) challenges.
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
* Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
* Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour management are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
