Overview A 6 month secondment opportunity has become available in the Central Procurement team. We are looking for a Fleet & Procurement Analyst who will be providing intelligent and innovative analysis in support of fleet and procurement for decision-making across Wincanton. The role will have direct reports and will report into the Head of Procurement with the objective of using data to help leverage maximum benefit through a number of strategic projects. Location Flexible / Remote How will you contribute? Provide support to the procurement team and wider business through regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis. Keeping business critical reports and dashboards up to date within a timely manner Provide support in developing and analysing relevant data to optimise the financial benefits for the business as a whole. Utilise all fleet related records and Telematics data, driving benefit through analysis of data to maximise all opportunities and efficiencies related to fleet use. Ensure timely and accurate help and guidance is provided on analytical information required, other processes and procedures, commodity information and tender support. Ensure KPI compliance with preferred Telematics supplier to ensure accurate reporting Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders as required What will you bring? Demonstrable experience of detail analysis and reporting through use of Microsoft Excel Experience of using different analytical tools Significant experience in the creation of insightful analysis to support decision making / strategic planning An understanding of procurement processes or analysing procurement data (suppliers, spend, opportunities, non financial supply data, markets, commodities) would be advantageous Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to 'tell the story' through analysis rather than simply producing data Strong numerical reasoning and analytical capability Be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and able to manipulate vast amounts of data Be able to work on their own initiative Hold the ability to build, influence and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders Be energised and able to create team spirit Our Culture & Benefits In addition to a generous salary, we really value our people and offer a friendly, safety-first working environment, along with other benefits including company pension scheme, generous holidays, cycle to work scheme, employee benefits include, online discount platform, onsite parking and much more.
