What's involved with this role: Temporary Secretary/Administrator x 2 – Electoral Services Job Ref: Cornwall 5245489 Pay Rate: Up to £12.00 per hour PAYE depending on experience Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours Role Length: This opening assignment is for 2-3 months City: Truro, Cornwall The purpose of the role is to assist the elections team in the preparation for the Police and Crime Commissioner elections to be held on 2nd May and also, if necessary, the UK Parliamentary Elections if held on the same day. Key Responsibilities: Input and collation of staff and polling station information (staffing of 421 polling stations and 2 count venues) Input and processing of election documents such as applications to vote, vote by post or proxy and other related documents. Accurately collating documents for polling stations, the verification and count and postal vote opening. Opening and dealing with incoming post relating to the above. Dealing with queries from staff in relation to the above. Any other duties in relation to these set of elections.
