Conveyancing Solicitor (Fixed-Term Contract)
Industry: Legal Services (Residential Property)
Location: Manchester (Hybrid – initial training on-site)
Contract: 3–6 months FTC
An established legal services provider within the residential property sector is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join the team on a fixed-term basis.
The role will focus on residential conveyancing matters, with a particular emphasis on mortgage-related issues, including arrears and repossessions. This is a hybrid position, requiring full office attendance for the first two weeks for training, followed by two days per week in the Manchester office.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
* Handling matters involving mortgage arrears, repossessions, and related lender requirements
* Liaising with clients, lenders, and third parties to progress files efficiently
* Drafting and reviewing standard conveyancing documentation
* Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and procedural requirements
Key Requirements
* Previous experience as a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal
* Strong exposure to mortgage-related matters, including arrears and repossessions
* Ability to manage files efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Comfortable working in a hybrid set-up following initial training
