PPM Facilities Department Manager
Salary: £65,000 per annum + Car Allowance + Company Benefits
Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Role Overview
Marble Talent Group are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical PPM Facilities Department Manager to lead and grow our Facilities Management function.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for the operational delivery, commercial performance, and strategic growth of the PPM and reactive maintenance offering.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise in PPM delivery, combined with commercial awareness and proven people leadership. You will ensure the department delivers safe, compliant, and high-quality services, while building the systems, capability, and client relationships required to support future growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
* Lead the delivery of PPM and reactive maintenance services across a portfolio of technically complex sites, ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and performance.
* Maintain oversight of departmental performance, workload, and client requirements, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure full compliance with statutory obligations, health & safety legislation, and internal systems and processes.
* Monitor operational trends and identify opportunities for service improvement, efficiency, and innovation.
* Oversee subcontractor performance, small works activity, and service delivery against agreed KPIs and SLAs.
* Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, building trusted, long-term relationships.
Growth & Commercial Focus
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and new client relationships.
* Support pricing, forecasting, and workload planning to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
* Contribute to wider business planning and ensure departmental objectives align with the organisation’s long-term strategy

Skills & Experience
* Strong technical background in Mechanical & Electrical Facilities Management.
* Proven experience managing PPM and reactive maintenance programmes.
* Sound understanding of statutory compliance, CDM regulations, and HSE requirements.
* Demonstrable experience leading teams and managing performance against KPIs and SLAs.
* Commercially astute, with the ability to contribute to departmental growth and financial performance.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* IOSH certification (or equivalent) required.
