Basic Qualifications
* High School Education or GED equivalency.
* 1 year manufacturing experience.
* Basic understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation.
* Ability and willingness to use basic hand tools (crimpers, soldering iron, wire strippers, brazing equipment, etc.) and measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, rulers, etc.).
* Ability and willingness to operate high temperature ovens and furnaces. Ability and willingness to pass Visual Acuity Exam as necessary.
* Ability and willingness to obtain Solder, Braze, and Electro-Static discharge certification as required.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
* Assemble parts according to process sheet/print instructions.
* Perform electrical, mechanical, magnetic testing as required (e.g., dielectric, megger, hipot).
* Perform in-process hi-pot testing; perform basic set up of fixtures.
* Perform vapor blasting as required; perform inventory counts and verification. Assist with prototype or first-time builds with guidance from higher level employees.
* Assist Engineering and/or Team in development and/or improvement of layout procedures and process sheets.
* Review expiration date of materials to ensure materials & equipment are current.
* Proactively work to improve efficiency and quality of products.
* Possess inspection stamp as required.
* Cross-train other employees as needed based upon knowledge and experience.
* Compliantly complete all written and/or electronic labor tracking documentation.
* Perform basic Oracle transactions as required.
* Report problems to appropriate resource and/or Coach.
* Keep all shift operators informed on special problems involving operation or setup.
* Communicate with team to ensure all team members are aware of new processes and/or issues. May interact with internal cross-functional teams (e.g., planning).
* May act as primary contact for auditors.
* May require FAA certification.
* Perform troubleshooting responsibilities.
* Participates in and support team initiatives.
* Utilizes proper PPE, safety equipment, and follows safety procedures.
* Understands and abides by the GE Leadership behaviors.
* Other duties as required.
Desired Qualifications
* 1-3 years manufacturing experience.
* Assembly, solder experience and/or electronics manufacturing experience.
* Experience in a self-directed teaming environment.
* Familiarity with 5S & lean manufacturing knowledge.

Physical Demands
* Ability to continuously use hands and fingers in repetition.
* Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, twist, crouch, squat, climb, and/or balance. Ability to continuously sit; occasional lift up to 20 lbs.; push/pull up to 22 lbs.

The pay for this position is $20/hour. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close 8/31/25.
