We’re looking for a Facilities Manager in north west Wales to work in the countryside including Eryri, Ynys Mon and Llyn. This is an exciting position where you can be directly involved in looking after special places like Ty Mawr Wybrnant - Bishop William Morgan's birthplace - and our rural offices, visitor car parks, in-hand farms, and workbases.
The ability to speak and work fluently in Welsh is essential for this role.

Our Rangers cover a large area, using local workbases to prepare for work out in the countryside. You will be a part of our success story by making sure we work in a safe and compliant workspace, and our visitors use welcoming facilities when visiting.
What you'll be doing
As our Facilities Manager, you'll be leading all planned preventative, reactive and small projects across the estate. You'll also be involved in the day-to-day running of capital works projects.
You'll lead and manage the facilities team of 2 people, who are responsible for maintaining high standards throughout all areas visited by people, including staff and volunteers.
You’ll also form strong links with your fellow heads of department, and work together to improve things and use resources efficiently.
Who we're looking for
We’d love to hear from you if you’re:
1. experienced in managing facilities, or supervising, and looking to develop your career
2. keenly interested in looking after buildings and assets to a high standard
3. skilled in managing relations with contractors
4. focused on detail, especially to do with health and safety and compliance
5. knowledgeable of environmental and climate initiatives
6. able to manage large maintenance budgets and make sure projects run smoothly.
