You’ll join us as an Assistant Product Manager, working closely with our Product Managers and teams across the Society to support the smooth running and monitoring of our Retail Products and end‑to‑end processes. You’ll be part of a cross-product team that shapes and delivers our end‑to‑end approach to product and process management, to strengthen how our processes operate, and improve the way we support our customers.
You’ll build a strong understanding of retail processes and the potential customer harms within them. You’ll bring a naturally curious and analytical mindset, be able to spot themes across processes and insight, and translate them into well‑informed recommendations that drive improvement.
This role suits someone who builds strong relationships with ease, communicates clearly, and feels confident working independently while staying aligned with shared priorities. If you have experience identifying opportunities for process enhancement, and turning analysis into practical solutions, you’ll thrive here. It’s an opportunity to influence positive change, contribute to a supportive team, and help shape consistently excellent outcomes.
We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best.
The working hours (per week) for this role can be between 30 and 35 hours.
At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.
For this job, you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part-time, you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Swindon, Northampton or Bournemouth office.
Nationwide is committed to the redeployment of our employees impacted by change, as such applications for redeployment candidates will be prioritised in this recruitment process.
