We have an exciting opportunity to join our Family Intervention Team – in the South and West locality, where you’ll make a meaningful impact of the lives of children and families. The key purpose of the role is to improve the outcomes for our most vulnerable young people and families in Devon to encourage positive change through targeted evidence-based interventions.
About The Role
As a Team Manager within the Family Intervention Team you will be passionate about relationship-based family intervention and you’ll support your team to continually develop their skills to achieve the best possible outcomes for our children, young people, and their families. Through reflective supervision with your team, you'll champion their personal and professional growth and support opportunities for reflection, learning and development. By building trusting and professional relationships you’ll make a positive difference to the children and families of Devon.
About You
You will have significant experience of evidence-based practice with children and families, and the expertise and approach to effectively supervise and manage social workers. You will demonstrate and role model restorative practice principles and will be passionate about relationship-based social work. You will be a team player with the ability to work independently to demanding standards and deadlines whilst remaining able to reflect and think creatively about how you can support your social work teams to build relationships that make a difference to the children and families of Devon.
