Your new role
As Transport Supervisor on the backshift (Mon to Fri, 1400-2200) you will work with customers, drivers and subcontractors to deliver KPIs and a high level of service. Responsibilities will include:
* Daily driver briefings and management
* Interface with customers to ensure all deliveries / requirements are met
* Supporting the team with any required training and development (including Driver CPC)
* Driver/vehicle/trailer checks to ensure the highest standards of reliability and presentation are maintained
* Customer support to solve problems and address any issues
* Ensure all H&S and other compliance processes are followed.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be proven in a similar role, be familiar with Fleet Compliance, and enjoy supporting the driver workforce to deliver excellent levels of service. You will be IT literate and a strong communicator, happy to take responsibility and solve problems when needed.
