The Role
As an RMN Nurse Assessor, you will thrive in a communication and patient-focused environment. Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Conducting consultations with clients via phone, in person, or video to assess claims for Personal Independent Payment (PIP) or Work Capability Assessment (WCA) related to disabilities, injuries, or conditions.
* Performing thorough functional medical assessments of disabilities or conditions.
* Utilizing your strong communication skills to understand how the disability impacts the individual.
* Managing a varied caseload involving complex physical, mental health, cognitive, and sensory impairments.
Your Requirements
We are seeking Registered Mental Health Nurses with:
* Full and clear registration with the NMC
* At least 1 year's post-qualification experience
* Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
* A positive, empathetic, and professional attitude
* Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
* Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
