Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Paediatrics in Redbridge, with an opportunity to earn up to £28.68 per hour, full-time, ongoing. What you will do:- Conduct EHC needs assessments for children aged 0 to 19, offering a crucial service to support their development.- Administer both formal and informal assessments, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each child's needs.- Write detailed reports that contribute to effective intervention planning, and collaborate with educators and families.- Deliver assessments in mainstream schools, enhancing educational support for children with additional needs.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:- Possess a degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy. - Have recent UK experience as an Occupational Therapist with a proven track record within the NHS.- Be registered with the HCPC and experienced in conducting EHC needs assessments, report writing, and mainstream school assessments.
