About the Role:
Our client, a global leader in industrial automation and motion control solutions, is seeking a proactive Sales Engineer to drive new business across the UK. This role focuses on developing relationships with OEMs and end users, promoting cutting-edge automation technologies including geared motors, servo drives, and integrated drive systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and target new business opportunities within the industrial automation and motion control markets.
* Drive sales by engaging OEMs and end users, understanding their automation challenges, and proposing tailored solutions.
* Promote a wide range of products including variable speed drives, servo motors, and electromechanical systems.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders.
* Work closely with internal application and engineering teams to support customer requirements.
* Attend industry events and site visits to enhance market intelligence and visibility.
Candidate Profile:
* Background in Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics.
* Proven sales experience in industrial automation, preferably with exposure to OEMs and end-user accounts.
* Strong knowledge of motion control, drive technology, and automation applications.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and technical consultative skills.
* Hunter mindset with a drive to generate new leads and close deals in a competitive environment.
