Position Overview
We are looking for skilled Welder/Fabricators to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves the fabrication and welding of steel components to exacting standards, ensuring DPL's commitment to quality and excellence is upheld.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabrication: Assemble steel components according to technical drawings and specifications.
* Welding: Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and ARC welding as required for diverse project demands.
* Inspection: Ensure welded and fabricated products meet required quality standards through visual and measurement checks.
* Blueprints: Read and interpret engineering drawings to create accurate components.
* Maintenance: Maintain welding and fabrication tools, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety protocols, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
* Innovation: Work collaboratively to implement improvements in fabrication processes and techniques.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator in an industrial or construction setting.
* Competence in MIG and TIG welding; certifications are a plus.
* Ability to read and work from engineering and technical drawings.
* Experience with workshop machinery like cutting saws, drills, and grinders.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Valid driving license and CSCS card preferred.
