Description: The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering Dahua’s high-quality products, solutions, and services. This role involves collaboration with internal departments such as Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, as well as external clients including distributors, system integrators, installers, and end-users. The goal is to enhance Dahua's business performance, reputation, and ensure sustained growth.
Main Responsibilities:
* Promote products pre-sales, introduce new features to channel customers, assist in product selection, and support sales targets.
* Define and manage product roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy and delivery priorities.
* Train technical engineers of channel partners to enhance their technical knowledge.
* Gather customer feedback for product improvements and communicate with product management.
* Assist customers with tender document preparation and participate in promotional activities like trade shows and open days.
* Provide technical support and advice on video surveillance equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with R&D and third-party integrations.
* Maintain communication with headquarters regarding new products and technical issues to ensure timely resolution.
Key Attributes:
* Experience managing multiple products and initiatives with proper prioritization.
* Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm systems, access control, video conferencing, VMS, cloud storage, video walls, video/audio matrices, networks, and industrial drones.
* Ability to work independently and set strategic directions.
* Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences, influencing and gaining organizational buy-in.
* Analytical skills to handle and synthesize data for decision-making.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Fast learner of new technologies.
