Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers across multiple programmes.
* Oversee systems engineering processes including requirements management, architecture development, integration, verification and validation.
* Collaborate with project managers, design leads and stakeholders to align engineering delivery with programme goals.
* Drive consistency in tools, methods and documentation across projects.
* Manage technical risks and support resolution through structured problem-solving.
Essential Experience
* Significant experience in systems engineering within defence, automotive or aerospace sectors.
* Proven leadership in managing engineering teams and delivering complex systems.
* Strong understanding of systems engineering standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO 15288, INCOSE SE Handbook).
* Proficiency in requirements management and modelling tools (e.g. DOORS, Cameo, Enterprise Architect).
Qualifications
* Degree in Systems Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and trade control restrictions.
