Job description
Our client BAE Systems, a prominent organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Senior Employee Services Professional to join their Shared Services Business Unit in Preston on a six-month contract. This role is fundamental in providing top-notch administration support and ensuring the seamless operation of services within the defence sector. The position requires full-time onsite presence, five days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Shared Services Business Unit.
2. Handling various administrative tasks with a focus on maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
3. Supporting internal and external stakeholders with excellent customer service and communication.
4. Ensuring compliance with organisational policies and security protocols, including BPSS security level requirements.
5. Collaborating with team members to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
6. Managing confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
7. Contributing to special projects and initiatives as required by the Business Unit.
Job Requirements:
8. Proven experience in administration within a professional setting, ideally within the Defence & Security sector.
9. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. Understanding of compliance and security protocols in a sensitive environment.
12. Proficiency in using administrative software and tools.
13. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
14. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
