Job Purpose
Your role is to oversee and coordinate packaging artwork projects, ensuring all labels and decorations meet deadlines, specifications, and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
* Manage and deliver complex packaging artwork projects.
* Create project plans, analyze data, manage budgets, timelines, risks, and collaborate with stakeholders for timely delivery.
* Support New Product Implementation (NPI) projects via SAP code creation, master data management, and pre-artwork meetings.
* Uphold first-time quality and artwork principles.
* Mentor artwork team members to maintain high standards.
* Ensure print-ready files are produced on time and meet quality expectations.
* Work with colleagues and suppliers to define optimal print and decoration processes.
* Provide weekly status updates and monitor project progress.
* Identify process improvements for efficiency.
* Ensure quality, progress, and timing of artwork streams in projects.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success.
* Serve as the lead for packaging/artwork at one of the AkzoNobel filling sites.
* Approve artworks regarding specifications, content, and quality.
* Provide packaging information for marketing briefs.
* Follow internal processes for artwork updates, coordinating with marketing, supply chain, and suppliers.
* Support packaging decoration improvements and compliance projects.
* Advise on print and decoration options for efficiency and quality.
Job Requirements
* Degree in Marketing, Communications, Packaging, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Extensive experience in artwork or packaging coordination roles.
* Technical knowledge of packaging decoration, repro, and print techniques.
* Strong project management skills and experience with digital tools.
* Proficiency in MDG/SAP, Excel, and MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in graphic reproduction.
* Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
* Team-oriented with collaborative mindset.
* Knowledge of packaging print processes and techniques.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver pragmatically.
