Opportunity
To support the development and execution of EY’s supplier and sourcing strategy for Managed Learning Services, contributing to a high‑performing supply chain that enhances client outcomes, fosters innovation and optimises operational costs through effective procurement solutions.
Your key responsibilities
* Assist in the implementation of the MLS sourcing strategy across a portfolio of suppliers.
* Support the establishment and management of strategic partnerships with key suppliers to drive value creation.
* Help introduce and integrate AI and automation into sourcing workflows to enhance efficiency and decision‑making.
* Mentor and guide junior team members in sourcing and supplier management practices.
* Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring supplier delivery aligns with contractual and service expectations.
* Utilise internal systems, such as ServiceNow, to optimise data and supplier performance reporting.
* Collaborate with risk, legal and commercial teams to support supplier contracts and risk management efforts.
* Identify opportunities for cost‑saving initiatives within the supply chain.
* Assist in sourcing solutions for new client opportunities and bids.
* Oversee and manage strategic and critical supplier relationships to drive high performance and develop mutually beneficial goals.
Skills and attributes for success
* Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management within a complex and regulated environment.
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage supplier and client relationships effectively.
* Understanding of operational and third‑party risk frameworks.
* Familiarity with emerging technologies, including AI, in procurement and supply chain contexts.
* Team leadership and coaching abilities.
* Experience with digital platforms (e.g. ServiceNow, Coupa, SAP Ariba) is desirable.
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, matrixed consulting or services environment.
To qualify for the role
* Degree‑qualified or equivalent experience.
* MCIPS certification is desirable but not essential.
* Project or programme management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2) are a bonus.
