About this role
This long-standing architecture studio primarily works within large-scale housing projects and is looking for a full-time marketing and office assistant. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for graphic design, and outstanding presentation abilities.
You will work closely with a talented team of architects to showcase their work and build brand awareness. Reporting to and mentored by the practice manager and directors, you will assist with administration, marketing, and business development tasks.
This role offers a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their marketing career. Please note, the studio operates from the office five days a week.
Key responsibilities
1. Producing impactful marketing materials (brochures and presentations) for new business pitches and client meetings
2. Identifying award opportunities and preparing submissions
3. Generating content for the website, social media channels, and newsletters
4. Managing the development and use of templates and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines
5. Liaising with PR consultants, press, and providing material for publication
6. Participating in internal communications
7. Coordinating events such as exhibitions, corporate hospitality, and seminars
8. Updating and maintaining the project information database
9. Managing the image library and arranging project photography
10. Providing general support to the admin and design teams
11. Ensuring reception is staffed, answering phones, and greeting clients and visitors
12. Managing incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and couriers
13. Ordering stationery and groceries
14. Assisting with travel arrangements, bookings, and office events
15. Supporting recruitment, inductions, and interview arrangements
16. Assisting the Finance Manager with receipts and petty cash management
Skills and Experience
1. Previous administration and communications experience within the architectural industry
2. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
3. Strong project management and multi-tasking abilities
4. A professional attitude with a positive problem-solving approach
5. Advanced graphic design skills, including proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
6. Experience with OpenAsset, Newforma, and CMAP is beneficial
