An excellent and rewarding job opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious individual to join our Wrexham garage as a Shift Fitter reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, whilst maintaining the fleet of PCV vehicles.
The role will involve:
1. Servicing and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
2. Continuous improvement of vehicle standards.
3. MOT preparation.
4. Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA).
5. Shifts are 5 over 7 Sunday to Saturday, shifts between 05.00 and 16:00.
Requirements:
1. Knowledge of PSV/HGV maintenance with recognised qualifications (E.G level 3 NVQ).
2. Can work safely and unsupervised to pre-set standards and guidelines.
3. Electrical knowledge is desirable but not necessary.
4. A PCV license is desirable but not necessary.
5. Inspection of vehicles for the scheduled maintenance (training can be provided) with IRTEC accreditation favourable.
