Job Details:
Pay: Up to £52,000 per annum (Overtime available at £25.00 per hour)Hours of Work: 07:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday (Some Saturdays 07:00 – 12:00)Duration: PermanentBenefits: Standard pension scheme, 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (additional service days after 5 years)Job Role: The Site
Operations Manager will oversee the daily running of a high-volume operational site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with environmental and legislative standards. The role involves coordinating site activities such as materials processing, yard operations, loading, stock control, and traffic management.
Acting in a hands-on leadership capacity, the
Site Operations Manager will manage site teams, plan labour and resources, and work closely with supervisors and the Wash Plant Manager to achieve production goals and maintain operational continuity.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Site Operations Manager or in a similar senior operational roleSound understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance requirementsStrong organisational and people management skillsNEBOSH or IOSH Health & Safety qualificationAdvantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
Experience within recycling, aggregates, or building materials environmentsNPORS or CPCS tickets for excavator or loading shovel operationsAdditional Information
