A vibrant, inclusive community in Complex Facilities/ Defence Equipment working on Service, inspection, maintenance and repair of Plant and HGV assets as part of the Service Life Extension Programme Proactively maintain / repair a fleet of assets that have been identified as part of the Service Life Extension Programme (SLEP). Maximise the operational availability for the customer by investigating, understanding and eliminating failed/faulty operation of those products such that the fix is as rapid and as cost effective as possible while ensuring continued safe and effective operation for the foreseeable future. Complete SLEP standard tasks within the given guidelines. HOURS OF WORK 40 Hours Per Week (Monday -Friday with additional overtime required at weekends when needed) What you will do: Both at the outset and as work progresses, liaise with the SLEP Centre Supervisor / Equipment Sustainability Manager, on the range of expected work, providing clarity and understanding of likely timescales and associated costs.
