Are you passionate about early years education and looking for a rewarding part-time role in a nurturing school environment? A welcoming primary school in Widnes is seeking a dedicated and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team, supporting children in reception every morning.
The roles is 9.00am to 1.00pm Monday to Friday
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive EYFS setting, providing high-quality care and learning support to young children during the vital early stages of their education.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
* Assisting with classroom routines, activities, and small group work
* Observing and supporting children's learning and development
* Promoting a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
* Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in an EYFS setting (nursery or school)
* A relevant qualification in Early Years or Supporting Teaching & Learning (e.g. Level 2/3) is desirable
* A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
* A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
