Job Overview
This is a challenging opportunity to join our Planning team as an Associate/Principal Planner. We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead and manage projects, providing strategic advice and guidance to clients on planning and land use.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK planning system, with a focus on the Scottish framework. They will be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including client teams, technical specialists, and Local Planning Authorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage projects to deliver strategic advice and guidance to clients on planning and land use.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Report directly to clients and take ownership of project delivery against client programmes.
Requirements
* Relevant planning degree and chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI).
* Working knowledge of the UK planning system, with a focus on the Scottish framework.
* Sound analytical and presentation skills, with great written and verbal communication skills.
