Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be confident, compassionate and have a true passion for working with children. This role involves supporting the daily operations of our childcare environment, ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere for all children. The Preschool Assistant will play a vital role in facilitating engaging activities and fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.
Duties
* Assist in the planning and implementation of educational programmes and activities for children.
* Provide supervision and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a welcoming environment.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the preschool space, ensuring resources are readily available for use.
* Collaborate with team members to create a positive learning atmosphere that encourages children's development.
* Support the management in administrative tasks as required, including record-keeping and reporting.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children in a childcare or preschool setting is essential.
* At least a level 3 childcare qualification is essential.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required.
* A valid driving licence is desired for this post.
