Informed by national progression data where A Level French students progress to higher education and study Law, French studies and others in language and area studies.
Students broaden their experience of the French language and culture through a trip to France, visits to a Manchester cinema to see French films, and the weekly “le club français” in College. Communicating in French is perfected thanks to a twinning project with a French lycée with whom students write and Skype. The department runs activities for local schools with whom we have a Mentor scheme.
