A major end client in the transportation sector is seeking to strengthen its major projects team with the appointment of a Design Manager. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the design components of a large scale construction project with an estimated cost of £300 million. Covering the full project lifecycle—from RIBA Stage 1 to Stage 7—you’ll have genuine influence over how project objectives are achieved and how to secure the best possible value for investment. Reporting to the Project Leader, you’ll take full ownership of the end-to-end design process, from inception through to completion, and will also oversee smaller projects as required. Key responsibilities: Developing project scopes that meet the organisation’s needs.
