An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Tayside Nutrition and Dietetic Service. The post holder will support both our Perth and Kinross Community Service and our Acute In-Patient Service which covers Perth Royal Infirmary. The post holder will provide organisational and administrative support to ensure the efficient operational functioning of both teams.
Duties are diverse in range and include maintaining and managing community clinic bookings, supporting and facilitating the day-to-day running of a busy office as well as facilitating the management of the generic mailbox and typing clinical reports and correspondence. Excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work as part of a team and on your own are essential for this position.
You must have a formal Secretarial/Administrative qualification or equivalent office based clerical and administrative experience. You should also be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel along with excellent keyboard skills and experience in typing of correspondence. Additional knowledge of NHS appointment booking system and electronic patient record systems would be desirable.
Confidentiality will be expected within all aspects of the role.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 18.5 hours per week worked over Monday - Friday
