Job Description Legal Secretary – Private Client Swindon Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Competitive, dependent on experience We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Secretary's to provide administrative and secretarial support within our client’s busy private client department in their Swindon office. This is a key role that requires strong organisational skills, a professional telephone manner, and the ability to handle client interactions with confidence and discretion. Key Responsibilities: Providing secretarial and administrative support to fee earners in the department Accurate typing and audio typing of correspondence and legal documents Handling incoming calls and liaising with clients in a courteous and professional manner Managing diaries, booking appointments, and maintaining client records Assisting with file management and general office duties as required The Ideal Candidate: Excellent typing and audio typing skills with strong attention to detail Previous experience within a legal firm - ideally within conveyancing or private client depts Confident communication skills and a professional telephone manner Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential A proactive and organised approach to workload management
