Spire Alexandra Hospital in Chatham is looking for a Part-Time Chef to join their fantastic catering team on a permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking for part time hours. Shift times are 7am-15.00 or 10.30- 18.30

Duties and responsibilities
1. To produce meals for patients, staff and visitors within a large operation; adhering to centralised standards of preparation, production and presentation.
2. A positive and flexible approach to customer service and strong communication skills.
3. Ability to plan patients’ diets as necessary including the correct utilisation of stock, along with a strong knowledge of allergens.
4. Quality assurance and Patient Confidentiality must always be maintained.
5. To comply with all Health and Safety at Work regulations, including COSHH and Manual Handling, whilst being aware of corporate and local safety policies.
Who we're looking for
6. Must have previous Chef/Cookery experience.
7. Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate/qualifications are essential for this role and you must be able to show a clear understanding of this.
8. Exceptional Customer Service skills.
