Our client is seeking a reliable and caring Caretaker to join a nurturing primary school in Slough on an ASAP basis. This is a key role within the school, supporting a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for young pupils, staff, and visitors. The role is well suited to someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of consistency, safety, and approachability in a primary school setting. The Role Day-to-day maintenance and care of the school buildings and grounds Opening and closing the school site as required Carrying out basic repairs, DIY, and general upkeep Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed across the site Monitoring site security and reporting issues promptly Supporting school events and occasional out-of-hours requirements The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience as a Caretaker, Site Assistant, or Facilities Assistant Practical maintenance and DIY skills Good knowledge of health & safety procedures A reliable, flexible, and hands-on approach The ability to work independently and manage priorities An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) School Information This primary school in Slough is known for its nurturing ethos, supportive leadership, and strong sense of community.
